Meet Sara
I’m Sara Davenport, a former TV news anchor in a top 10 market, who successfully transitioned out of the news industry. I now help other journalists do the same, through my Breaking Out of Breaking News (BOBN) programs.
With firsthand experience navigating the uncertainty of leaving the newsroom, I specialize in guiding TV newsies toward careers that align with their skills, passions, and lifestyle goals. Along with The Breaking Out of Breaking News Academy, I provide additional resources, strategies, and support that journalists need to design a new career (and life) they love!
